I believe that we should learn civics to figure out what is going on or happened in the world around us. Also i believe that it will be important to know in the future about civics because it is very important to us and our society. 1st one 2 blog!!!
I think it is a very important to learn about civics. So that we could learn different things about history. Instead of learning what we originally learned in our World Cultures class. We can go a little outside the box and learn a little more about the world, and how things happen around the world. I also agree with Demi.

I think that learning civics will get you far in life. I LOVE to learn to about history,governmnet, etc. We should study civics because it would be cool to see whats happening around the world. I believe that Civics is an important section of academics. Learning what you need to know as a U.S. citizen is highly important. If people from other countries know how our government works better than us, we should be ashamed. We were born in this country and have a duty to know our country's heretige, governent, and social economics. Civics is, and always will be an important part of the education system.
Also, I have read every comment, and highly agree about all the points my classmates brought up. This blog is turning out great!

I think that it is kind of wrong that people not even born in the united states, that had to take a test just to be a citizen know more about our country and its modern history than the average citizen does.

In my opinion, civics is important for us to learn in middle school because it teaches us about how people should act and what people should do as citizens. It will also teach us about the history, government, and economics of our country as well as other countries that are located throughout the globe. Also if we learn about some of the problems that these governments had, we can learn how to prevent them in the future. Civics is an extremely important topic that everyone should learn about.
Equally I believe that learning civics in middle school gives middle school students a look of what they will be doing in high school. Civics in middle school prepares students by giving them a more sheltered approach to harder teachers and textbooks that they have in high school.
Studying civics are the things about the world and what it holds, not just one point topic. Civics is the new and old things too because without them we couldn't be what we are today.
I Think it is important to learn civics because we need to understand that we aren't the only people in the world. Other things are goin on in other countrys as places across the globe.
